Sustainability &
ESG Commitment

Building a water-secure future through responsible engineering, community investment, and transparent governance.

Our Pillars

A Three-Pillar Commitment

At Salvage Systems, sustainability is embedded in every design decision, material choice, and business practice we make.

Environmental

  • Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) designs eliminating wastewater to drain
  • Energy-efficient systems reducing plant power consumption by up to 40%
  • Chemical-free treatment options using UV and ozone technology
  • Solar-integrated plant designs reducing carbon footprint at source

Social

  • Community water access programmes benefiting 10,000+ rural households
  • Safe drinking water installations at 30+ government schools
  • Employee welfare: health cover, training, and career development
  • Partnerships with NGOs for water sanitation awareness campaigns

Governance

  • ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system across all operations
  • Transparent pricing with detailed, itemised project quotations
  • Regular third-party audits of engineering quality and safety
  • Strict anti-corruption and ethical sourcing policies company-wide
Programmes

Key Sustainability Initiatives

Concrete programmes that turn our ESG commitments into measurable environmental and social impact.

Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) Systems

Our ZLD programme eliminates all liquid effluent from industrial processes, recovering 95–100% of process water for reuse. Over 50 ZLD installations are operational across India, helping clients achieve full PCB compliance while cutting water procurement costs significantly.

Water Recycling & Reuse Programme

Our closed-loop water recycling systems allow industrial facilities to reuse treated water within their own processes. Collectively, our solutions have recovered over 500 million litres of water, supporting India's national water conservation goals and our clients' sustainability targets.

Solar-Powered Treatment Plants

Our solar integration programme pairs treatment systems with photovoltaic arrays, reducing grid electricity dependency by up to 60%. Clients in Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Karnataka have seen 40% average reductions in annual energy costs and significantly lower carbon emissions.

Community Water Access Programme

Salvage Systems dedicates 2% of annual revenue to community water access initiatives. We partner with gram panchayats and district administrations to install and maintain low-cost purification systems in water-stressed villages, providing safe drinking water to over 10,000 households across Maharashtra and Rajasthan.
